The Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) Confederate Veteran Service Record Search: If you already know the name of your Confederate Veteran Ancestor, his approximate age and where he was from, we will search for record of his service at no charge.
Sons of Confederate Veterans Professional Genealogy Research Service Our Professional Genealogy Research Service is a modest fee of $25 which pays for our time, a report on what we find, and up to 3 electronic copies of Census records or other public documents which show your lineage. There is no guarantee that you have, or that we can locate, a Confederate Veteran in your family lineage. Note: Most local camps of the SCV also offer research services. Copies of original military service records are available from (and not included in our Research Service): your State's Archives, the National Archives and Records Administration, or from Broadfoot.
